Selling Policies and Seller Code of Conduct

All sellers are expected to adhere to the following policies when listing products on Uepaki. Seller offenses and prohibited content can result in suspension of your Uepaki account.

Seller code of conduct

This policy requires that sellers act fairly and honestly on Uepaki to ensure a safe buying and selling experience. All sellers must:

1. Provide accurate information to Uepaki and our customers at all times.
2. Act fairly and not misuse Uepaki’s features or services. Sellers are not allowed to share their personal and business contact details with customers which shall include their contact numbers, email-id’s, social profiles links etc.
3. Not attempt to damage or abuse another Seller, their listings or ratings, Sellers if found damaging or harnessing other sellers performance in order to rule them out in competition will be straight away blocked from Uepaki marketplace and strict actions will be taken against them. It can even lead to confiscate and penalize them with money and criminal proceedings.  
4. Not attempt to influence customers’ ratings, feedback, and reviews.
5. Not send unsolicited or inappropriate communications.
6. Sellers if withdraw projects without completing it, will be liable to return money back to the customers. Uepaki have the sole rights to charge-back any such money through the banking partners. Uepaki has the sole rights to even block sellers in such case on its platform.
7. Not contact customers except through Buyer-Seller Messaging.
8. Not attempt to circumvent the Uepaki sales and competition process.
9. Not operate more than one Selling on Uepaki account without permission by Uepaki. This meant sellers can’t operate multiple accounts in one domain/field.

Violating the Code of Conduct or any other Uepaki policies may result in actions against your account, such as cancellation of listings, suspension or forfeiture of payments, and removal of selling privileges. More details about these policies are below.

Accurate Information

You must provide accurate information to Uepaki and our customers, and update the information if it changes. For example, this means that you must use a business name that accurately identifies your business and list your products in the correct category.

Acting Fairly

You must act fairly and lawfully and may not misuse any service provided by Uepaki. Examples of unfair activities include:

1. Providing misleading or inappropriate information to Uepaki or our customers, such as by creating multiple detail pages for the same product or posting offensive product images.
2. Manipulating the competition and the sales process (such as by creating fake orders or orders that you have paid for) or making claims about sales rank in product titles or descriptions.
3. Attempting to increase the price of a product after an order is confirmed.
4. Artificially inflating web traffic (using bots or paying for clicks, for example).
5. Attempting to damage another Seller, their listings or ratings.
6. Allowing other people to act on your behalf in a way that violates Uepaki’s policies or your agreement with Uepaki.

Ratings, Feedback, and Reviews

You may not attempt to influence or inflate customers’ ratings, feedback, and reviews. You may request feedback and reviews from your own customers in a neutral manner, but may not:

1. Pay for or offer an incentive (such as coupons or free products) in exchange for providing or removing feedback or reviews.
2. Ask customers to write only positive reviews or ask them to remove or change a review.
3. Solicit reviews only from customers who had a positive experience. Uepaki do entertains and calculate the no of orders and the reviews in calculating your performance. If orders and reviews are found mismatched that too will bring down your performance score.
4. Review your own products or a competitors’ products.

Communications

You may not send unsolicited or inappropriate messages. All communications to customers must be sent through Buyer-Seller Messaging and be necessary for fulfilling the order or providing customer services. Marketing communications are prohibited.

Customer Information

If you receive customer information such as addresses or phone numbers to fulfil orders, you may use that information only to fulfil orders and must delete it after the order has been processed. You may not use customer information to contact customers (except through Buyer-Seller Messaging) or share it with any third-party.

Circumventing the Sales Process

You may not attempt to circumvent the Uepaki sales process or divert Uepaki customers to another website. This means that you may not provide links or messages that prompt users to visit any external website or complete a transaction elsewhere.

Multiple Selling on Uepaki Accounts

You may not operate multiple Selling on Uepaki accounts unless you have received permission from Uepaki and have a legitimate business need for more than one account. Read more about the requirements for operating more than one account on Multiple Selling on Uepaki accounts.

Filing Infringement Notices as a Brand/Seller/Designer:

Uepaki understands that a lot of resellers, counterfeit manufactures exist in the market. Therefore, doesn’t permit sellers to indulge or hire any reseller or 3rd party dealer to sell on their behalf on platform. If in case any such circumvent is found and Uepaki finds any seller doing it just to increase their selling numbers, increase their profit or enhance competition in any case, sellers account will be blocked straightaway.

Misusing the Uepaki.com website: As a community, all sellers are able to access and use the Uepaki.com website. If a seller uploads excessive amounts of data repeatedly, or otherwise uses the website in an excessive or unreasonable way, it can create a disproportional load on the website and impair the ability of other sellers to easily access and use the website. If a seller is misusing or making excessive or unreasonable use of the Uepaki.com website, Uepaki may in its sole discretion restrict or block access to product feeds or any other website functions that are being misused until the seller stops its misuse.
